Flowers Early Learning is a high-quality preschool located in Benton Harbor, Michigan at the Discovery Enrichment Center and is currently looking for Preschool Teachers, serving classrooms with children ages 3-5.

Position Summary: A center-based teacher implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment, and child outcomes systems, consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. They work as a partner with families in the health, attendance, and education of their children. Supervises and provides direction/guidance to Teacher Assistants and Classroom Support Staff.

Job Type: Full Time, Exempt, Salaried, Program Year

Expected Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary due to daily schedule.

Rate of Pay: AA- $1,472.00 Bi-weekly BA- $1,675.20 Bi-weekly

Education Requirement: Minimum - AA, or BA in Child Development or Early Childhood Education with 1 to 2 years of related experience.
Desired - BA degree in Early Childhood Education is required within 6 years of hire. The Tuition Assistance Program may be available upon request.

Other Selection Criteria: All candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical examination, and comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and possess a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
