Flowers Early Learning is a high-quality preschool located in Millburg, Michigan (Benton Harbor Twp) and is currently looking for Infant/Toddler Teacher, serving classrooms with children ages 0-3.

Position Summary: Infant-toddler Teachers provide nurturing care, supervision, support and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children ages 0-3, implements High Scope curriculum, conducts on-going assessments, works with a team of coworkers and volunteers, builds child-focused partnerships with families and support staff and ensures compliance with state and federal licensing and grant requirements.
Job Type: Full Year (12 months), Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt
Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Rate of Pay: HS/GED: $15.86,Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA): $17.12, AA: $18.40, BA or Higher: $20.94
Education Requirement: Minimum – High school diploma or equivalent and Child Development Associate with infant-toddler focus.
• Preferred – Two years of related experience working with the appropriate age group.
• Must attain associate’s degree or make equivalent progress toward bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, with at least 18 credits in early childhood education, within 48 months of hire.
Other Selection Criteria: All candidates must complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical examination, and comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and possess a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
