Flowers Early Learning is a high-quality preschool located in Millburg (Benton Harbor Twp.), Michigan and is currently looking for an Infant/Toddler Home visitor, serving home based classrooms with children ages 0-3.

Position Summary: Coach and partner with families about parenting, health, nutrition, and child development through weekly home visits so families become more effective educators of their children. Plans and implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies, developmentally appropriate practice, and the Head Start Performance Standards.
Job Type: Full-time, Full Year, Non-Exempt/ Hourly
Expected Schedule: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p
Rate of Pay: AA: $18.40 BA or Higher: $20.94
Education Requirement: Minimum – Associates Degree with emphasis on early childhood education or Family Services Credential. Must obtain a Family Service Credential within 30 days of hire, if not current. Desired - Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on early childhood education. Must obtain a Family Service Credential within 30 days of hire, if not current.
Qualifications: Must have competency in verbal and written communication skills. Must have a personal driving record with not more than 6 active points as determined by the Secretary of State.
Other Selection Criteria: All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and their own reliable transportation, complete a physical examination, comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen including a negative result for Amphetamines, Cannabinoids (including Marijuana/THC), Cocaine, Opiates, and Phencyclidine (PCP). Marijuana is not legal at the federal level and is prohibited in the workplace or in one's system, even if legally prescribed.
